In 1986 we bought our first Bull Terrier, Paddy,
a pet and companion to add to the family.
After having an interest in the breed for
sometime, we showed him at a small exemption show and that’s when we
caught the
showing bug.
Our next Bull Terrier was a bitch, she was bred
on Geham / Bullyboy lines. When she was about two & a half years she
developed pyometra and had to be spayed.
Next we bought a bitch strongly bred on Ghabar
lines, she was Fullahead Eagle, a typical Ghabar bitch with the most
wonderful temperament.
When mated to Ch. Maxdon Hustler at Tiapan she
produced Ch. Kalsar Sweet Duke of Shoukran, our first champion and
sire of 15 champions.
We repeated the mating and she produced Kalsar
Whiskey Mac, who won 1 CC, and Kalsar Back on Kingsline, who won
1CC, 1RCC’s and JW, Patsy is the dam of our next bitch, Kingsline
Miranda of Kalsar. This bitch did quite well in the show ring, she
was well made, moved well, had a well filled head but needed a
little more profile.
When mated to Ch/Int Ned, Nor, Belg, Lux. Ch
Grisse Basse Charming White Devil, she produced two dogs. One we
kept and he became Ch. Kalsar Sweet William, Ormandy Jug Dog winner
in 2005 and the only dog to win the Charlie Girl Cup for movement
two years running.
We have 2 new Kalsar bred bitch puppies this and hopefully in 2006 once again be back in the
show ring.
